Job Information 5 Year Old Established & Independently owned local publication in Maryland with other magazines in NY, PA, and VA is looking to hire a qualified Advertising Assistant for online sales. The position is a part-time work-from home opportunity.  Job description: performs a variety of marketing advertising sales and public relations, while assisting with promotional marketing tasks, schedule ads, maintain accurate records, and assist in reporting / billing of advertising services to clients. Deadline oriented a must. 1-2 years of ad sales, public relations or marketing experience preferred. Strong writing and organizational skills, ability to juggle multiple projects at once, knowledge of Windows-based computers and programs (Excel, Word, and WordPress). Compensation: Monthly Administrative Fee Plus Commission. The Review Assignment Scheduler position is a part-time, pay-per scheduled review, work-from home opportunity. Job description: The Review Assignment Scheduler selects and plans review assignments to be covered by reporters. Responsible for creating a monthly calendar of shows (Theatre, Music, Dance, etc.) and then work with the writers and publicity departments at theatres to schedule reviews. Then follow-up to make sure all scheduled reviews have been written and published. Deadline oriented a must. Strong writing and organizational skills, ability to juggle multiple projects at once, knowledge of Windows-based computers and programs (Excel, Word, and Google Calendar).
