Frank Britton, one of the area’s busiest actors was brutally attacked in Silver Spring MD by four lowlifes on May 26th 2014 as he was hailing a cab to go home. Britton is currently performing in Forum Theatre’s prodcution of The Last Days of Judas Iscariot which had its official opening last night. Britton spent the night in the emergency room at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, where he is awaiting surgery tonight to repair a broken cheekbone and other injuries. (Thankfully, his eyesight was not compromised.)
Britton’s most recent performing credits include Two Trains Running at Round House Theatre, The Wedding Dress at Spooky Action Theatre and The Iceman Cometh at Quotidian Theatre Company.
Because no one should have to go through something like this alone and the DC theatre community always takes care of their own, a fund has been set up to offset the cost of Frank’s medical expenses.
If you know Frank personally or have enjoyed one of his many performances over the years, please consider donating to his recovery fund by clicking here.
Together we can make sure Frank has a speedy recovery so he can get back to doing what he loves the most.
