One of the many ways I “measure a year” is in the shows I see because of my love of theatre. The 2014-2015 season is shaping up to be quite outstanding. With so many shows worth getting excited about, here’s my list about what I’m most eager to see (so far).

- The Curious Incident of the Dog at Nighttime, performances begin September 10
- Disgraced, performances begin September 27
- The Elephant Man, performances begin November 7
- The Real Thing, performances begin October 2

- Finding Neverland, performances on Broadway yet to be announced or confirmed
- A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, rumored to come to Broadway this spring and star James Corden

- Ever After at the Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey

- Sunday in the Park with George at Signature Theatre, runs August 5 through September 21
- Take Me Out at 1st Stage, runs September 12 through October 11
- Little Dancer at The Kennedy Center, runs October 25 through November 30
- One Man, Two Guvnors at 1st Stage, runs November 21 through December 28
- Diner at Signature Theatre, runs December 9 through January 25
- Do You Hear the People Sing? at The Kennedy Center, runs March 27 and March 28
