Edward Herrmann was born on July 21, 1943 in Washington, District of Columbia. He passed away December 31, 2014. He was 71.
Mark Beachy interviewed Edward Herrmann at the Monster Mania Convention in Hunt Valley, MD. Best known for his role as Franklin D. Roosevelt in the first feature film adaptation of the Broadway musical ‘Annie’ in 1982. In 1976 he won the Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Play for his performance as Frank Gardner in revival of ‘Mrs. Warren’s Profession’. You may also remember him as Mr.Gilmore in the ‘Gilmore Girls.’ Taped September 28, 2012.
