Founded in 1988, The Next Ice Age “exists to present figure skating as a respected and undeniable dance form through performance and education.” They do this by “developing finely trained skaters to perform new works and repertoire that engage audiences and enrich life.”
On April 11 and 12, 2014, the Maryland Theatre Guide was at Hotel Monaco in Baltimore and Gardens Ice House in Laurel to document their 25 Anniversary called, “A Class Reunion.”
In this series of 8 videos, you will get to see some of the greatest figure skaters of all time, a few performances, a class demonstration, and even a Guinness World Record attempt for largest skating class.
