A day after the devastating fire at Notre Dame Cathedral, the world is still in shock over the disaster.
Knowing that Toby’s Dinner Theatre in Columbia is currently producing
a musical adaptation of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame,” MD Theatre Guide reached out to Toby’s to get their reaction.
Statement from Toby’s Dinner Theatre to MD Theatre Guide:
“Our hearts go out to the people of France as the Notre Dame Cathedral is a great symbol of their country, as well as an inspirational icon throughout the world. As we are currently performing “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”, we know this story will touch peoples hearts on an even deeper level than before. We mourn this tragedy but find comfort that lives were not lost and that President Macron vowed that the iconic Notre Dame will be rebuilt.”
