Rapid Lemon Productions’ next season of world premieres will appear in February, June, and October 2020 at Motor House, in Baltimore.
Give Me Moonlight
by Ariel Mitchell
Give Me Moonlight is the fictionalized true story of Bessie and Albert Johnson, a couple in early 1900s Chicago who seem to have everything. But when Bessie brings home a surprise visitor, the sorrows that have festered under the surface come seeping through the façades she and her husband have created. Based on the actual history of Scotty’s Castle (http://www.nps.gov/deva/learn/historyculture/scottys-castle.htm), this surreal journey explores why two people would risk what they barely have to build a castle for a con artist in the middle of Death Valley.
