May 27 – June 27, 2021
In a letter accompanying the announcement, Ybarra stated “This season of activities represents a cautiously optimistic path forward that we will continue to evolve and adapt in response to the world around us.”
Also announced was BCS’ strategy for reopening responsibly: “Over the next several months we’ll work internally and in collaboration with our artists’ unions to ensure a safe environment for audiences and artists alike. When we do welcome you back, we’ll do so with a remodeled Head Theater for our first two productions, allowing for not only a responsible socially distant audience environment, but also a singular artistic experience.”
