
Spices: A Collection of Monologues and Poems by Black Artists, will be performed live on Zoom Sunday afternoon, September 13th at 2:00 pm. This production, created and directed by Jacqueline Youm, features monologues from a variety of plays written by Black playwrights and performed by Black actors. These monologues will be interspersed with selections from the writings of Black poets, read by Ms. Youm. The program presents a focused vehicle for these writers to tell their stories, to highlight their experiences, and to do this in their own voices. |
The Actors Ms. Youm has gathered together six actors from the Washington, DC metropolitan area and beyond.
