On March 8, 2020, COVID forced us to cease all live in-person performances. But now, a year and a half later…
WE’RE BACK! Welcome to Theatre Project’s 50th Anniversary Season!
The coming year will feature productions by our Resident Companies including High Zero, Happenstance Theater, IN Series, Iron Crow Theatre, Peabody Chamber Opera, Deep Vision Dance Company, VTDance/Vincent E. Thomas, and Alex and Olmsted.
Guest Artists include John Feffer, Phill Branch, Full Circle Dance Company, Sandglass Theater, ellen cherry, BlueShift Dance, Vaught Contemporary Ballet, Air Dance Bernasconi, and Happy Theater.
In addition, we will also be celebrating our 50th birthday with both live and virtual special events throughout the year.
Come celebrate 50 years of What’s Next! We can’t wait to welcome you home.
HIGH ZERO 2021
High Zero Foundation
September 23 – 26
Baltimore’s High Zero Festival of Experimental Improvised Music is in its 23rd year, and as we all rise from our isolation, we seek connection through music. This year we play it safe while taking ever greater risks!
Live concerts return to Theatre Project on Friday and Saturday featuring all local performers. Thursday night will feature performances from far away places. Sunday night will consist of dozens of pithy five minute performances.
Circumstances necessitate limited seating capacity for in person performances, so all shows will be
streamed on Twitch. Members of the
High Zero/Red Room mailing list will be offered a chance to participate in a lottery to claim a coveted place in the audience.
For the safety of our wonderful patrons and musicians, we are taking a number of safety steps for in person shows.
- Seating capacity at the Theatre Project will be limited
- Guests must be vaccinated, or have a negative COVID test up to seven days before attending the festival.
- All guests must wear masks while inside Theatre Project.
- If you have any COVID-associated symptoms the day of the show, please do not attend.
Tickets will unfortunately not be sold Theatre Project. Only a limited number of advanced tickets will be sold via a lottery. Each performance will stream live on
Twitch. The broadcast will involve multiple cameras and microphones for a high quality viewing experience.
