BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – Rapid Lemon Productions will open their 12th season with a staged reading of “But Who Loves Medusa?” by Kenny Hahn.
We all know about the snake-haired gorgon Medusa, but do you know the story of the woman who became her? This new drama reimagines Ovid’s myth in a sensual, sometimes silly, oftentimes beautiful story about love, loss, and the events in life that define us.
This play deals with rape and mature sexual themes. It is not recommended for children.
The performance will be at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Strand Theater Company, 5426 Harford Road, Baltimore, MD 21214. Tickets are $15, for either in-person or live streamed online access. There will be a talkback with the playwright following the performance. In-person attendance will follow strict COVID safety protocols in accordance with City of Baltimore guidelines.
