Mari Fluegeman

Mari Fluegeman (they/them) is a dramaturg and Director of New Works for Theatre Prometheus. They’ve dramaturged many of Prometheus’ world premieres and developmental workshops, including "the wolf you feed" by Darcy Parker Bruce (world premiere), "Votaress" by Caitlin Partridge (developmental workshop & public reading at the Kennedy Center), and "Dua" by Robin Berl (staged readings and May 2024 world premiere). They love advocating for new plays and the amazing playwrights who write them. Past training includes a literary fellowship at the American Shakespeare Center; dramaturgy fellowship at the Kennedy Center New Play Dramaturgy Intensive; program ambassador for the Ground Floor at Berkeley Rep. Mari is a 2015 graduate of Centre College in Danville, KY, where they received a B.A. in Dramatic Arts and English.
