The Maryland Theatre Guide is an online performing arts news magazine, covering theatre, music, and dance in the Maryland, Washington DC, and Northern Virginia area.
The MD/DC/NOVA theatre community has embraced our online magazine, sharing our reviews on social media, creating a buzz for excited theatregoers.
MD Theatre Guide was created in 2010 by founder and publisher emeritus Mark Beachy. On June 1, 2011 the MD Theatre Guide was officially incorporated as an LLC, launching as a free online magazine for the performing arts community and its audiences. The magazine reaches an average of 3,000 to 5,000 page views per day.
MD Theatre Guide’s mission is to provide reviews and articles that are fair and honest, thorough, and family friendly.

“What’s Playing” Events Calendar: A run-down of the performing arts shows throughout the month and year.

Theatre Guide: An in-depth theatre guide section that lists each theatre according to the area and provides direct access to more information via their website.
Half-Price Tickets: Limited availability of half-price tickets for theatre performances throughout Maryland, DC, and Northern VA.
